Interactive Android-powered touchscreens, proprietary software, and a cloud platform — built for transit, ready for anywhere.
Every AdHops screen is a high-resolution 10-inch Android tablet mounted on the headrest, facing the passenger. These are not passive displays. They are fully interactive touchscreens with GPS, SIM-based mobile data, and built-in batteries backed by the vehicle's electrical system — giving passengers a direct, hands-on experience with your brand.
Passengers can tap to explore a product, browse a catalog, scan a QR code for a discount, fill out a feedback form, or interact with rich media creatives. For advertisers, this means every impression is an opportunity for engagement, not just a glance.
High-resolution touchscreens let passengers interact directly with ad content — tap, swipe, browse, scan. Your ad is not just seen, it is used.
Each tablet has built-in GPS for location-based ad targeting and SIM-based 4G connectivity for content updates and telemetry. Optional driver hotspot pairing provides a backup data path.
Tablets run on their own battery and are wired into the vehicle's electrical system — so they stay powered through long shifts without interruption.
Each device is fitted with a protective case, screen protector, and anti-theft mount. The tablet is fully locked down — passengers interact only with AdHops content, nothing else.
Every tablet runs two proprietary AdHops applications working together. The first is our custom ad delivery app that handles content playback, interactivity, GPS-based targeting, and analytics. The second is our kiosk app — a lockdown layer that ensures the tablet is dedicated entirely to AdHops. No home screen, no settings access, no distractions. This protects passenger privacy, prevents misuse, and guarantees that all system resources are available for ad delivery.
Ad content is downloaded to the device during periods of good connectivity and stored locally. The playback engine runs entirely offline, following a pre-programmed schedule. Your ad plays on time, every time — regardless of network conditions. When connectivity is restored, playback logs and telemetry data sync back to the cloud.
The scheduling engine determines which ad to play based on the vehicle's current GPS location, time of day, campaign targeting rules, and fair-rotation policies. This runs locally on the device, so it works even without a live server connection.
Our cloud-based console gives operators full visibility into every screen in the fleet. Monitor device health, push software updates, change campaign schedules, and troubleshoot issues — all without sending a technician to the vehicle.
Every ad play and every interaction generates a structured log — ad ID, timestamp, GPS coordinates, screen ID, duration, and engagement data. These logs are batched and uploaded to our analytics backend, where they power the dashboards and reports advertisers see.
Because our screens are touchscreens, advertisers are not limited to video and static images. Passengers can interact with your content in real time — and we are building the tools to make that easy.
Our own ads and feedback collection forms are already running on the platform. Coming soon, we are developing standardized creative libraries that will help advertisers build the most common forms of interactive content — product catalogs, lead capture forms, gamified promotions, and rich 3D JavaScript-based animations — without needing a custom development team.
If you can imagine it running on a touchscreen, it can run on AdHops.
AdHops is currently live in Hyderabad, deployed across cabs and buses. We are actively expanding to other tier-1 Indian cities — and our platform is not limited to vehicles. Any location where a screen meets an audience is a potential AdHops deployment.
All communication between devices and our cloud infrastructure is encrypted. Software updates are delivered over-the-air with rollback capability — if an update fails, the device automatically reverts to the last known good version. Our backend runs on scalable cloud infrastructure with automated failover and daily backups.
